Start and Onboarding
The Start page helps a new user arrive on Monad.
Goal
The flow is designed to:
- connect a wallet;
- bridge at least $10 to Monad;
- receive 5 MON for first transaction fees;
- discover pools and portfolio tracking.
Claim MON
The claim exists so a wallet that arrives holding assets but no native token can actually move. It is a courtesy to get started with, not a reward, and not something you are owed for using the site.
It is reserved for eligible new wallets. The site checks:
- the wallet is connected;
- the user has signed with the wallet;
- the bridge was worth at least $10;
- the wallet has not already claimed, and the bridge transaction has not been used before;
- the faucet has funds;
- the wallet is not already an older Monad user.
There is also a daily limit per network address, so one person cannot farm the claim across fresh wallets.
The amount, the rules and the offer itself can change or end at any time. A claim that fails does not entitle you to a replacement. The terms say the same thing.
Why a Signature Is Required
The signature protects the claim and private pages. It proves that the connected wallet belongs to the user without creating an on-chain transaction.
After Claiming
After the claim, the user can:
- open pools;
- track positions in the portfolio;
- compare prices before a first swap.
