Monad APR Documentation Alpha

Risk Breakdown

Risk Score

The Monad APR risk score is a synthetic score out of 10. Higher means the pool is considered safer according to the available data.

General Formula

Each pool receives 4 axis scores out of 100:

  • Protocol;
  • Asset;
  • Yield;
  • Liquidity.

The final score is weighted:

score / 10 =
  (Protocol x 35%
 + Asset x 35%
 + Yield x 15%
 + Liquidity x 15%) / 10

Protocol and Asset carry the largest weight because, on Monad, risk often comes from the protocol itself or from the asset being held, not only from the displayed yield.

Quick Interpretation

  • 9-10: very strong profile according to available data.
  • 7-9: good profile, but still read the notes.
  • 5-7: risk/reward tradeoff.
  • 3-5: high risk or multiple weak signals.
  • 0-3: very high risk, incident, override, or strongly unfavorable data.
  • ?: insufficient data.

What the Score Is Not

The score is not:

  • a security guarantee;
  • a smart contract audit;
  • a price prediction;
  • a deposit recommendation;
  • insurance against losses.

It exists to make tradeoffs easier to read.
