Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for the issues users hit most often. If nothing here resolves yours, the FAQ covers more general questions.

Wallet and connection

My wallet won't connect

Try these in order:

  1. Refresh the page. The wallet popup is sometimes blocked by the browser the first time.
  2. Unlock your wallet extension before clicking Connect.
  3. Switch network to Monad in your wallet. Some wallets refuse to expose accounts when sitting on an unsupported chain.
  4. Disable conflicting browser extensions. Multiple wallet extensions installed at the same time can intercept the connection request.
  5. Try a different browser or a clean profile to rule out a corrupted wallet session.

"Sign in" is stuck or fails

The portfolio and alerts ask for a signed message to prove ownership of the address. The signature does not cost gas. If signing fails:

  • Make sure your wallet is on Monad.
  • Reject the popup, then click Sign again. Some wallets cache stale state.
  • If you are on a hardware wallet, confirm the request on the device itself.

Portfolio

My portfolio is missing positions

  1. Wait for the loading bar to finish. Detectors run in parallel and the scan is not over until the bar completes.
  2. Press the Refresh button to bypass the 10-minute cache.
  3. Check that you connected the address that actually holds the position (not a hot wallet).
  4. The position might be in a protocol or product type that does not yet have a detector. See FAQ.

Total value looks wrong

  • Verify the underlying tokens shown in each detected position. A token without a price feed will display n/a rather than guess a value.
  • A negative contribution is normal when a protocol exposes a borrow position.
  • Cached values are at most 10 minutes old. Press Refresh to force a recomputation.

Refresh button does nothing visible

Refresh forces a scan but the result might be identical to the cached one. The loading bar should still animate. If nothing happens at all, check the browser console for errors and reload the page.

Alerts

I don't receive the email verification code

  • Check your spam / promotions folder.
  • The code expires quickly. If too much time has passed, click Resend code on the Alerts page.
  • Make sure the address you typed is correct. A typo will silently never arrive.

My Telegram alerts never arrive

  • Confirm you clicked the bot start link generated by Monad APR and pressed Start inside Telegram. The bot only delivers messages to chats that started the conversation.
  • Check that Telegram notifications are enabled for that bot.
  • Verify the alert is still active and that the threshold has actually been crossed since the last cooldown window expired.

I keep getting the same alert

Increase the cooldown on that alert. Cooldown is the minimum time between two notifications for the same triggered condition.

Pools and data

A pool I expected to see is missing

A pool's APY suddenly dropped to 0 or n/a

Usually a temporary data issue: source unreachable, RPC slow, or the upstream provider returned an empty value. Monad APR prefers showing n/a rather than inventing numbers. The next refresh cycle typically fixes it.

A pool shows a suspicious flag

The data does not look right to Monad APR: extreme APY, source inconsistency, or unstable values. Treat the pool with caution and read the risk breakdown before doing anything with it.

Display

The page looks broken or unstyled

Hard-refresh with Ctrl + Shift + R (or Cmd + Shift + R on Mac) to bypass the browser cache. If you use an aggressive ad blocker, allow Monad APR's scripts and font CDN.

Text is unreadable / dark theme issues

Monad APR uses a dark theme by default. If your OS forces light-mode rewrites or you use a "high contrast" extension, results may vary. Disable the extension on this site.

Still stuck?

Open the app in a private window with no extensions enabled to rule out local issues. If the problem persists, that is the kind of report worth sending to the team.
